Each year the APICTA Awards identify the best solutions from the Asia Pacific region across a broad range of categories.

A warm welcome to Jakarta the capital city of Indonesia to all delegates, entrepreneurs, innovators and creators of Information Communication Technology from the Asia Pacific Information Communication Technology Alliances (APICTA) for APICTA Annual Competition and Award 2014.

APICTA Competition and Award is supported by 17 member economies which are Australia, Brunei Darussalam, China Taipei, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Macao, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan, People Republic of China, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.

APICTA is aiming at stimulating economic and employment growth, trade relations, technology transfer, business matching and world attention to the region, through implementing an internationally recognized program constructed with regional cooperation and incorporating community awareness and industry development strategies.

APICTA realization works through

Indentifying, recognizing and bestowing global credibility to innovative regional ICT achievers who have developed unique ICT products and solutions, recognizing them through our Awards Program.

Promoting the innovative advancement of ICT industry and its products and solutions.

Promoting and increasing trade and technology exchange

Encouraging and assisting young people to take up entrepreneurial career paths within ICT sectors thus creating a pool of knowledge workers for the region to draw upon.

Assisting the greater community to understand and embrace the emerging lCT environment.

Establishing an environment that promotes interaction between local and regional industry sectors reliant on ICT enabling technologies.

Facilitating the promotion of locally developed innovative ICT applications to be globally recognized through the APICTA Awards Program.

This event is supported by Ministry of Information and Communication Technology the Republic of Indonesia and the Governor of Jakarta Special Region and organized by Indonesian Telematics Software Development Association (ASPILUKI).

APICTA Award 2014 is scheduled in November 27-30 November 2014 and takes place at Jakarta Bina Nusantara International School fx Lifestyle and Entertainment Park.
